Retail Team Lead | Petaluma, CA
Compensation: Hourly, Starting $20/hr
Hours: 30-40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday and some weekends
The Retail Team Lead is responsible for helping our team deliver a powerful local food experience to our farm grocery customers. This position will support weekly production tasks and be responsible for supervising and motivating one to two team members on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
- Prepare gorgeous Bundles of farm groceries for customers. Use your artsy side to add a little joy to eating locally.
- Prep orders based on the customer labels with care and an eye for detail.
- Set up and pack up our pop-up market.
- Greet customers, work the cash register, answer customer questions
- Pack up the market and handle closing duties, such as sweeping, mopping, box tear-down
- Foster an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Motivate team members
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
- Attend Weekly Check In Meeting - Mondays 10am
- Prep orders based on the customer labels with care and an eye for detail.
- Set up and pack up our pop-up market.
- Greet customers, work the cash register, answer customer questions.
- Deliver customer orders.
- Vendor order pickups as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Handling materials
- Problem solving
- Consistent standing
- We’re all weather, and this position involves being prepared for both heat and cold.
Experience and Skills
- Great communication skills
- Flexibility
- Great attention to detail is a must
- Experience working with produce and fresh foods is an asset
- Experience in a managerial or supervisory role at a restaurant or customer boutique
- Experience working in order fulfillment is an asset
- Social Media skills are a plus, but not required
