Roasted Pears with Honey

Ingredients

  • 4 pears, sliced in half lengthwise with seeds removed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice a small piece off the rounded side of each pear half and arrange so it sits flat on the baking sheet. 
  3. Sprinkle each with cinnamon.
  4. Drizzle pear slices with a light drizzle of honey and if using, chopped walnuts
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Allow pears to cool before serving. Or, serve warm with ice cream.
