Easy Sheet Pan Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 1lb steak strips (or carne asada, sliced)
  • 2-3 bell peppers
  • 1 large red  or sweet onion
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
  • Fajita seasoning, divided *recipe below
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice (optional)
  • Favorite tortillas, for serving
  • Garnish: Sliced fresh avocado, shredded cheese

Fajita Seasoning

  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F
  2. Chop the peppers and onion.
  3. Arrange fajita strips and vegetables on sheet pan, and season with oil and taco seasoning.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, or until steak is cooked to your preferred level of doneness. 
  5. Serve family style with warmed flour tortillas, fresh avocado, and shredded cheese. Optional toppings: cilantro, sour cream, salsa and your favorite hot sauce!
