Steak Strips with Balsamic Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 10 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • salt & pepper, to taste

For Marinade:

  • 1lb steak strips
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1tsp black pepper
  • 1tsp salt

Instructions:

  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Add steak strips and marinate for 20 mins or overnight.
  • Heat a saucepan to medium heat, add butter and marinated steak then sauté for 8 mins. In the meantime, slice mushrooms.
  • Add mushrooms along with the balsamic vinegar and dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until mushrooms start to brown , about 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve right away.
